Ms. Alcalde’s practice area focuses on domestic and international litigation and arbitration under the CAM, ICC, and ad hoc rules, and are mainly focused on commercial, regulatory, infrastructure and construction matters. Ms. Alcalde also has extensive experience in dispute resolution under the Public Works Concessions Law, both before the Concessions Technical Panel (DAB) and before the Conciliation and Arbitration Commissions.
Before joining Alcalde & Cía, Ms. Alcalde was an associate at Carey (2009-2014).
She is an Arbitrator at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CAM Santiago). She is also an International Arbitrator of the Registry of International Arbitrators of the Lima Chamber of Commerce for the 2024-2027 period (CCL).
She currently teaches a Dispute Resolution course at the Concessions and Infrastructure Diploma Program at the Law School of Universidad del Desarrollo and International Arbitration at the Law School of Universidad Diego Portales. She was previosuly an assistant professor of Civil Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2009-2016).
She has published in national and international journals on dispute resolution and international arbitration. She has also participated as a speaker in seminars on dispute resolution and public works arbitration in both Chile and Peru.
Ms. Alcalde has been recognized by several legal publications and is listed in the Chilean Bar Association’s Directory of Experts, in the categories of Litigation and Arbitration.
