Mr. Valdivia is a lawyer specialized in tax law, tax consulting, and legal defense before administrative authorities and in court, both in audit proceedings and in litigation before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and before the Tax and Customs Courts (TTA). He has experience in appeals and hearings before the Courts of Appeals and the Supreme Court. He also advises on the management and planning of all types of tax matters, both for corporations and individuals. He is an expert in tax compliance, as well as in the prevention and resolution of controversies with the Treasury and municipalities. He joined the law firm in 2015, having previously worked at the Internal Revenue Service (2007-2011) and as Supervisor of the Tax & Legal Department of the consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) (2011-2015).
He has also worked as a professor of tax law and accounting for lawyers in various universities. He was a lecturer of several specialized courses at the IRS Training School.
